From Grief to Purpose: My Journey into Holistic Healing

There are moments in life that split us in two - the person we were before, and the person we became after. For me, that shift came through deep loss and quiet revelation. ( maybe not so quiet)
Just last year, I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my mother. Before that, the loss of my father and brother. I walked closely with my mom, along with my younger brother, through her battle with cancer. Being her caregiver during that season was not only difficult (if you knew my mom ) but humbling and heart-opening. I witnessed not only the physical toll of illness but the emotional and spiritual weight it carries. And through it all, I began to see more clearly what truly matters: presence, peace, and deep care that goes beyond the surface.
My journey into holistic care began years before, when I started facing my own unhealed trauma and emotional pain from childhood. Traditional paths didn’t bring the peace I was searching for—but energy work, mindfulness, and spiritual wellness did. That was when I first understood that healing isn’t just about the body. It’s about aligning the mind, emotions, and spirit too.
So when life brought deep grief into my world, I already had tools that helped me stay grounded and open-hearted, even in the midst of pain. Holistic healing became not only something I practiced—but something I lived.
My transition into holistic hair and energy healing is more than a career shift—it’s a soul calling. I created this space not only to help people look good, but to feel deeply nurtured, grounded, and seen. It’s my way of honoring my parents, especially my mother, whose strength and grace still guide me.
Every client I see is a reminder that healing is sacred. That beauty and wellness are deeply connected. And that out of grief can come the most powerful purpose.
If you’re navigating your own healing, know this: you are not alone. And you deserve care that supports all of you.
Here's a photo of my mom with her granddaughters. I know she's smiling down, proud of the work I'm doing - and proud that I'm showing these young girls a more mindful, healing way to live.
