Soothing Sounds & Friend

This past weekend, I had the gift of spending time with my dear friend Jen, and together we stepped into a space of sound healing and Reiki. It was held at Barre Fusion Pilates in Naples, by the lovely Justine. I will link her contact here. It was one of those experiences that nourishes you in more ways than one—not only because of the beautiful energy work, but also because of the joy of simply being with someone I love.
As the session began, I felt the hum of the bowls, the flow of Reiki, and then came the koshi chimes. The moment they rang, I was transported. Their soft, delicate notes carried me back to childhood memories—like little echoes of innocence and wonder. They were so gentle, so pure, like whispers reminding me that beauty can live in the simplest sounds.
The experience as a whole was both grounding and uplifting. It lifted the weight of the week off my shoulders, softened my edges, and reminded me of the importance of reset—of coming back to myself. Walking out, I felt lighter, clearer, and deeply grateful.
Healing, I’ve come to realize, is not always about doing more—it’s about remembering how to return to the stillness that’s already within us. That day with Jen reminded me of that truth. It always surprises me at how much sound healing works, I always feel so much lighter, calmer, and better than !
